Tap The Dead: Ghost Hunter ("the Game") is developed and published by Tap The Dead as a solo indie project. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The Game is available as a browser app at tapthedead.com, an Android app on Google Play, and an iOS app on the Apple App Store. This policy applies to all three platforms.

You may also play as a guest without providing any personal information. Guest progress is stored locally on your device only.
We automatically collect anonymised analytics data, including:
Analytics are collected through Firebase Analytics (Google LLC).
When signed in, your game progress (score, coins, unlocked worlds, skins, settings) is stored in Firebase Firestore to enable cloud saving and cross-device play.
We process in-app purchases through three providers depending on your platform. We never see or store your full payment card details.
Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). We support:
Guest play requires no sign-in. Guest data is local only and lost on uninstall.
The web version displays banner advertisements served by Google AdSense (Google LLC). AdSense may use cookies and device identifiers to show personalised ads.
Opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or the DAA opt-out page.
Purchasing "Remove Ads" in the shop removes banner ads from your session.
We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect user safety, only to the extent legally required.
Account data is retained while your account exists. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months (Firebase default). Purchase records are retained as required by applicable tax regulations (typically 7 years).
You may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data.

We will respond within 30 days. Deletion permanently removes your profile, progress, and Firebase data. Purchase records may be retained as required by law.
The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us at support@tapthedead.com if you believe a child has provided us their data.
We use TLS encryption in transit and Firebase security rules at rest. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy at any time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
